Almost done...

Yeah, I know, some of you won't like the wavy hand drawn pinlines on this, but I think it goes well with the overall concept, and don't really care about this one falling under any real rules. Its not done yet anyway and still needs to be rubbed out and polished, but am looking forward to getting it in the water...

I think I am going to totally rip off your artwork on this one for my next board! I may change the colors so as not to be a complete thief. I love it.

I love the concept too. I just shaped a mini-simmons and tried to shape it as close to the Swift boards as possible, but we put "modern" single foil keels on it. When I was shaping it I was thinking, what if I made this a bonzer five fin config, just like a really fat bumblebee model... Can't wait to hear your ride report.

...talking about motorcycles,
yesterday I rode a Norton from 1952 with fellas from the local MC
we ve got 10 British motorcycles
running
but older than the zombies
and we put lots of Kms on the road

yesterday, for ex we take the road and rode about 250 Kms with bikes from 1942 - 1952
bobbers and "classics"

one of these days I ll post a video or something

hey reverb,

it's funny you said that about hiding mistakes, as i was hoping to SHOW the messy lines really. Maybe i should sand it off and really make it messy...The outline is super goofy, and looks like a kid did it. I think a lot of people will not like it, but who cares...

I know what you mean about clients wanting things perfect, which is why this was so much fun to just do the opposite, lol

clay,
nice to hear from you. yeah, go for it, art wise. nothing like doing something a little of kilter to make/keep it fun...

I'm going to add my voice to the choir and say that the hand-draw lines are awesome.
