The hood...



Just found these pictures of the revised set up.
Tynemouth is a quirky place. Kinda reminds me of OB San Diego. There's lots of eccentric folk about, they're generally friendly, and curious as to what a surfboard maker is doing in the bleak north of England. Its a funny little village on the coast of a major city, yet feels a world away. Things don't change fast, and everyone knows each other.

Today this lovely english(duh) gentleman poked his head in and offered me some tea, and an ancient sea chest. There's a mechanics next door, and their clients are often peeking in the door to see what all the fuss is, and why there's surfboards all over the alley.

The best thing is probably Copperfields pub is less than 50 yards away, and besides being able to get a freshly pulled Bass, the food is great...
