that place was barely 8'x8'. just enough room to work. of course it was really the all purpose room...shape/glass/sand/gloss/daydream am going back exuma in a few weeks, can't wait!
yeah, and as you can see there was no ventilation except the big door in front. so, all the shaping/sanding dust was never really gone, plus laminating/hotcoating etc was a nightmare for fumes... then there was the lighting problems you mentioned...

I love shaping shacks. Much more fun to look at than shaping bay's. Mine looks much the same!

yeah, its good. but in the past I had got problem with the dust..for ex, for a gloss finish..well, I mean perfect finish...
Oh man, me too. My 2 boards came out looking a bit dirty from all the funk in there. But for a backyarder, it's heaven.
The worst bit though, is not being able to see the edges of the board well. The dark background really helps you see little imperfections.
