what are the advantages of the twinzer over the normal twin fin?
thanks?

heitor,

well, the most noticable difference is there is increased drive, and holding power.

the small front fin sort of directs the water over the main fin, creating a canard/vane effect. it also helps to catch more of the energy travelling down the rail of the board, focusing it more effectively on the main fin.

all of this adds up to a board that is as loose as a normal twin, but with much more drive(speed in your turns, or acceleration during and out of them) and more secure. a popular description is "a twin on steroids."

i'll see if i can dig up some links with more info for you...

Sick sick board. I really like the quad/twinzer thing on fish. Its perfect for thruster riders who want to cruise like a fish but turn like a tri.

Ben Shipman is a great human being. He has had some health problems lately, send good vibes his way.
